Pulau Kentut Kecil is a small island to the southwest of Pulau Langkawi. It forms a pair with Pulau Kentut Besar to its east. Pulau Kentut Kecil is uninhabited. You can catch a glimpse of it if you go on an island-hopping tour of Langkawi.

I can't describe the name of this island with a straight face. It literally means Little Fart Island. According to local legend, during the wedding feast for the marriage of two giants, the daughter of Gunung Mat Cincang to the son of Gunung Raya, the groom broke wind twice upon being served half-cooked rice by the bride's family. The gas formed the two islands aforementioned. The food served was regarded with contempt by the groom's party while the groom's farting an insult to the bride's family. Very soon, pots were broken, splashing gravy and hot water all over the island.
