These shots were taken over a course of a few visits to the island to document its history and heritage sites.

Pulau Jerejak North

The northern part of Pulau Jerejak, with views of the Penang Bridge, was once the Jerejak Prison, used as late as the mid 1970's.

Jerejak Middle

The middle portion of Pulau Jerejak once housed the leprosy sanitorium, but has now been transformed into the Jerejak Resort. The western side still houses the Penang shipyard.

Pulau Jerejak South

The southern part of Pulau Jerejak was once the Tuberculosis Hospital. The buildings are still around, but in a dilapidated state.
