About Sandakan Division
Sandakan Division is an administrative division on the northeast part of Sabah. It covers an area of 28,205 square kilometers, equivalent to 38.8% of Sabah. This is the largest of the five administrative divisions, and home to about 19.4% of Sabah's total population. The main towns in the Sandakan Division are Sandakan, Kinabatangan and Beluran.

The Sandakan Division is broken down into four districts, with the Sandakan District, centering around the town of Sandakan being the most populous.
