About Senipung Lake
Senipung Lake is a lake located about 40 minutes' trek from Senipung Hill, near Long Pasia. There is a legend associated to the lake. The local people of Ulu Padas believe that a strange creature inhabited the lake. However, the lake is said to have disappeared for four generations, only to be rediscovered in 1997. It was then called Takung Keluyung, or Keluyung Lake.
Today the lake has been renamed Senipung Lake. Although its water is crystal clear, the mystery abounds as no fish is found in the lake
