Sepang International Circuit, Selangor

Sepang International Circuit is a racing circuit in Sepang, Selangor. It is within view of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, about 60 km from Kuala Lumpur.

The Sepang International Circuit was first opened on 7 March, 1999. It has a 5.54-km circuit designed by Hermann Tilke, a German circuit designer who would also design the tracks in Shanghai, Bahrain and Turkey. The track in Sepang comprises two circuits, the North Circuit and South Circuit. These can be combined to form a full circuit with one tight hairpin.
Among the major events held at the Sepang International Circuit includes the Formula One Malaysian Grand Prix, A1 Grand Prix, Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix, the SuperGT and the Asian Touring Car Championship.
How to go to the Sepang International Circuit
Take the E6 Expressway in the direction of KLIA. Exit the expressway when you see the KLIA Mosque to your left. You will pass the KLIA Mosque still on your left and reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, continue straight on until you reach the next junction to your left. Continue down Jalan Kuarters KLIA and follow the signboard till you reach the Sepang International Circuit.
