Shopping in Ipoh With a relatively affluent consumer base, Ipoh has a good number of shopping malls, department stores and hypermarkets. There are also specialty stores catering to special needs. On this page, I list out some of the places that you can do your shopping.
  1. AEON Kinta City
    Shopping mall with Jusco department store as anchor tenant.

  2. Billion Supermarket
    Billion is a supermarket selling mostly household products and inexpensive clothing. It is located at 18-25 Jalan Kledang Raya 19, off Jlaan Silibin, Taman Alkaf, 30200 Ipoh, tel: 05-526 3223

  3. Billion Ipoh Jaya
    Another outlet of Billion, this one in a two-storey shophouse at Ipoh Jaya. The address is 315 Jalan Gunung Rapat, Taman Ipoh Jaya, 31350 Ipoh, tel: 05-313 6221

  4. Econsave
    Hypermarket at Great World Centre, Jalan Kampar, 30250 Ipoh.

  5. Giant Hypermarket
    Hypermarket in Sunway City, a property development in the Tambun suburb of Ipoh, close to the Lost World of Tambun hot spring resort.

  6. Greentown Mall
    A major suburban mall in Ipoh. Its anchor tenant is UO Super Store. The mall has a bowling alley, a food court and the usual fast food restaurants. It is located at Jalan Hospital, 30450 Ipoh, tel: 05-242 2371

  7. Greentown Square
    A commercial and retail development in the Greentown suburb of Ipoh. It is located along Jalan Dato' Seri Ahmad Said, 30450 Ipoh.

  8. Greentown Suria
    Property development next to Greentown Square

  9. Ipoh Garden Plaza
    Shopping complex

  10. Kamdar
    Working-class department store selling clothes, textile and household items located at Jalan Raja Muda Aziz, 30300 Ipoh

  11. Tesco Extra
    Formerly Makro, a hypermarket located at Taman Tasik Indra, 34100 Ipoh.

  12. Tesco Ipoh
    Main Ipoh branch of Tesco hypermarket, located at Jalan Jambu, Taman Teh Teng Seng, 31400 Ipoh.

  13. Tesco Station 18
    Latest Tesco hypermarket located at Station 18, Pengkalan, in southern Ipoh.

  14. The Store
    Working-class department store along Jalan Dato' Onn Jaafar and another outlet at Jalan Kampar.

  15. Kompleks Yik Foong
    Working class shopping complex in downtown Ipoh, across from the Ipoh Central Market.
