The Snake Sanctuary is one of the latest tourist attractions in Langkawi. Located at Kampung Mata Ayer, Ulu Melaka, in front of the Tok Senik Resort, it was created to provide the general public education on the snakes in Malaysia. Visitors can view the many types of venomous and non-venomous snakes found in the country. There is also an opportunity to touch the non venomous species.

A snake show is performed at the amphitheatre every day. Here, visitors get to view some of the deadliest snakes in action, including the king cobra, python and copperhead vipers. Shows are held at 11:30 am, 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm.
