Soon Mansion is the name of the mansion built by Soon Ah Lee @ Baba Lee, one of the three men credited to have founded the town of Lunas, Kedah. Soon Mansion was completed in 1928, and it housed the whole soon clan. In the entrance hall are photos of Soon Ah Lee flanked by the portraits of his two wives. This Palladian-style bungalow is one of the most distinguished buildings in Lunas. However, presently it is unoccupied.
Members of the Penang Heritage Trust (of which I am a Council Member) had a site visit here in January 2007.

How to go to the Soon Mansion
Exit the Butterworth-Kulim Expressway into Lunas. Go along the main road, passing through Lunas town. Immediately outside town, you arrive at a traffic junction. Turn right. Soon Mansion is located about 100 meters after the junction, on the left side of the road.
