The SPH de Silva Building is a jeweller housed in a handsome Victorian neo-Renaissance building constructed in 1931. It is located along Belfield Street, nowadays known as Jalan Sultan Yussuf, at the junction with Jalan Tun Sambantan (Hale Street). I photograph it for AsiaExplorers as a documentation of as one of the heritage buildings in Ipoh, and hope that some form of restoration work can be put in place to bring this beautiful building back to its former glory.

In the 1950s, SPH de Silva has an outlet here selling tropies, cups, shields and medals.
