Süleyman Mosque of TTI
The Süleyman Mosque of Taman Tamadun Islam, Kuala Terengganu, is a replica of an Islamic monument in Istanbul, Turkey. The Süleyman Mosque is one of the major tourist attractions in the city. It is the second largest mosque is Istanbul after the Sultan Ahmed Mosque. Of the two, the Süleyman Mosque is older. It was built between 1550 and 1558.
Also written as the Süleymaniye Mosque, it was built by order of the Sultan Süleyman. The architect who designed it was Sinan Pasha, the chief architect and civil engineer in the Ottoman court. Please continue to my page on the actual Süleymaniye Mosque to learn more about it.
