Teluk Yu, Langkawi
Teluk Yu is a bay between Pantai Pasir Hitam and Pantai Pasir Tengkorak on the north side of Pulau Langkawi, about 19 kilometers from Kuah town. Although the name Teluk Yu means Bay of Sharks, it is really a serene stretch of beach overlooking the Tarutao Islands of South Thailand.
The chief attraction at Teluk Yu is the Langkawi Craft Cultural Complex, set up to showcase Malaysia's diverse cultural heritage through handicrafts. Available for sale are the intricately wovan basketware and fabrics. The complex also houses the Royal Museum, the Islamic Museum and the Heritage Museum.
