About the Tombonuo
Tombonuo is a subtribe of the Kadazan-Dusun group. They live in the Pitas and Kota Marudu area, in the Kudat Division. The Tombonuo are mostly farmers. Their traditional costumes are black based adorned with coloured linings. They speak a language related to the Rungus tribe.
