Victoria Bridge
Kuala Kangsar Heritage Bridge

[an error occurred while processing this directive] The Victoria Bridge is a railway bridge that crosses the Perak River near Kuala Kangsar. The Victoria Bridge was 1897 and 1900 during the reign of Sultan Idris Mersid-El Aazam Shah. The engineer for the project was C.R. Hanson.

The original Victoria Bridge is now no longer in use, as a new concrete bridge has taken over its role. The concrete bridge is just 15 metres away from the original bridge. You can catch a glimpse of it from the above photograph, which I shot when a group of AsiaExplorers members and I visited the Victoria Bridge on our way to Cameron Highlands.
