Yau Tet Shin Bazaar, also called Pasar Bulat, is a presently demolished historical bazaar building in the New Town of Ipoh, Perak. I actually came to Ipoh to look for the building, but found that the site was just an empty lot used for parking. I later learned that the building was demolished in 2001 when the Ipoh City Council pronounced it unsafe.

The original Yau Tet Shin Bazaar was built in 1961. It was named after Yau Tet Shin (1859-1913), the early 20th century tin-mining tycoon who was instrumental in developing Ipoh New Town.

According to a report in The Star on 22 February 2011, the site was being handed to the Perak Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCCI), and that a new bazaar building will be erected at the site sympathetic to the original plan.

The Yau Tet Shin was built in the Modern architecture style. It was a circular design, two storeys tall, and spotted a central skylight. The building became known as Pasar Bulat, or "round market" among the locals.

The new Yau Tet Shin Bazaar to be erected on the spot will also house a market, as in the original building. It will also house a hotel, a multi-storey car park, and a gallery showcasing Ipoh's history. From the plan, it appears that the new structure will be much taller than the old Yau Tet Shin Bazaar.
