Pisang is a mountain village in the Himalayas, in Nepal. It is located within the Annapurna Conservation Area, and is surrounded by towering peaks. The village has a population of about 700 people within 142 households. Most of the people here are farmers who draw corn, buckwheat and lentils.
Pisang is located within Manang district, at an elevation of 3,400 m (11,155 ft). Pisang is located by the Marsyangdi River, which flows through the village, separating it into two sides namely Lower Pisang and Upper Pisang. At Upper Pisang is a medieval Buddhist temple.
