Boon Lay is a small housing estate in the western part of Singapore. It can be said to be within Jurong. Booy Lay got its name from the late 19th to turn of the 20th century Singapore entrepreneur Chew Boon Lay who operated the Chew Boon Lay Rubber Estate in the area. There was a village here called Boon Lay Village.

Amenities in Boon Lay

Boon Lay Shopping Centre is the main retail premise here. There are other shopping centres within Jurong close to Boon Lay. Boon Lay Secondary School is one of the schools here.

Boon Lay MRT Station (EW27) on the East West Line.
