Bugis Village (map) is a row of 34 restored shophouses along Rochor Road in Singapore. Until 1991, it was a grim row that once housed the red-light district of Singapore. Transvestites are said to often bring their "guests" home to their premises in the walk-up apartments above the shophouses.

The rebranding of Bugis Street saw the end of the flesh trade of the area. Along came a sprucing up of Bugis Village, which is reincarnated as shops, with some budget hotels on the upper floors.
Getting there
Take the East West Line to the Bugis MRT Station (EW 12) and cross Victoria Street to reach it.
