Bukit Panjang Gospel Chapel, Singapore

Bukit Panjang Gospel Chapel is a church in Bukit Panjang, in the central north-western part of Singapore. It is located at 12 Galistan Avenue. The church dates back to 1958, when a sister in the assembly, Nancy Wee, offered her house as gift to the church. Sunday School classes were held there in 1959 until the school was officially registered as the Bukit Panjang Gospel Chapel in December of 1963.
The original building of the church was destroyed in a fire that broke out on 28 February 1972. While the new building was under construction, services were held under a tent. The new building was eventually completed and dedicated on 24 November, 1973. It underwent renovations in 1982, with an extension added to it in 1988.
Bukit Panjang Gospel Chapel today holds services every Sunday for the English-speaking and Chinese-speaking assemblies. A total of about 250 to 300 believers attend the services.
