Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, Singapore

Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is a protected forest area in the heart of Singapore. This is one of the few remainder of virgin vegetation in Singapore, undisturbed by forest clearing and development.
The Bukit Timah Nature Reserve covers an area of 400 acres. It is the largest patch of primary rainforest in Singapore. The reserve is near the geographic centre of Singapore, and includes the slopes of Bukit Timah, the tallest hill on the island.

Adjacent to the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is the Hindhede Nature Park, developed from an abandoned quarrry.
