Claymore Road is a minor road in the Orchard Road area of Singapore. It was named after Captain William Scott, whose name is immortalized in nearby Scotts Road. Claymore was the name of the house and plantation belonging to Scott, who relocated from Penang following the establishment of Singapore. His father, James Scott, was the business partner of Captain Francis Light, who established Penang.

 Scott's Claymore Estate was the third largest plantation in the area, spanning the breath of Orchard Road to Tanglin Club. It was planted mostly with nutmeg, as well as sea-cotton, arrowroot, cocoa, betel nut, and some fruit trees.

William Scott passed away in 1861 and was buried at the Fort Canning Cemetery.
