Duxton Plain Park is a long, narrow and curved park between New Bridge Road and Yan Kit Road. It got its rather unusual shape from the fact that it was once railway track. Until the Malayan Railway realigned its track in the 1930s, the track passed through here on its way to the terminus at Tanjong Pagar.

The railway tracks used to go north towards Orchard Road. They have long been removed, and in their place is this strangely shaped park.
