Finlayson Green, Singapore
Finlayson Green is a short street in the Central Business District of Singapore. It runs from the intersection with one branch of Collyer Quay and Cecil Street on one end, and the intersection with another branch of Collyer Quay, Raffles Quay and Marina Boulevard on the other.
Finlayson Green was named after businessman J. Finlayson, chairman of the Singapore Chamber of Commerce. The street was created in 1895 following the land reclamation that extended the shoreline outwards until Raffles Quay.
How to reach Finlayson Green
Take the North South Line or the East West Line of the Singapore MRT to the Raffles Place MRT Station. In the future, the nearest station will be the Downtown MRT Station for the new Downtown Line.
