Hong Lim Park, Singapore
Hong Lim Park is an urban park located within the Central Business District of downtown Singapore. It is bounded by North Canal Road, New Bridge Road, Upper Pickering Street and South Bridge Road. It measures 0.94 hectare.

Hong Lim Park was created by local businessman Cheng Hong Lim in 1885. It was the first public garden in Singapore. The park became the venue of election rallies during the 1950's and 1960's. As such, it was the apt choice for the Speakers' Corner which was created in September 2000.
Within the vicinity of Hong Lim Park is the Hong Lim Complex, Old Thong Chai Medical Institution and Great Eastern Centre.
How to reach Hong Lim Park
Take the Singapore MRT North East Line to the Chinatown MRT Station (NE4/DT19). Walk along New Bridge Road until you reach the park on your right.
