Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hall, Singapore

The Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hall is the Family Service Centre of the Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA) in Little India. Located along Race Course Lane, it was built in 1953 and named after the father of modern India, Mahatma Gandhiji. The hall had a statue of Mahatma Gandhi which was there by Malcolm Macdonald, the Commissioner General of the United Kingdom.
Getting there
You may visit this place as part of the Little India Walking Tour. You can take the MRT North East Line to the Farrer Park MRT Station (NE8) and walk from there.
