Mosque Street, Singapore
Mosque Street (see map) is a one-way street in the Chinatown of Singapore. It runs from South Bridge Road to New Bridge Road, beside the Jamae Mosque, the Indian Muslim mosque after which it was named. The area used be an enclave for south Indians from the Coromandel Coast. The street was known in Hokkien as Kitling Beo Pi, meaning "beside the Indian temple".
