Nei Xue Tang Museum is a museum of Buddhist artifacts. It is housed in a four-storey Peranakan-style house, at Cantonment Road, at the junction with Yan Kit Road, in the Tanjong Pagar neighbourhood of downtown Singapore.

Nei Xue Tang Museum is the first museum to be set up under the House Museum Scheme which allows private museums to be set up, so that their collections can be enjoyed by the general public. The museum receives support from the Singapore Tourist Promotion Board, the Singapore Urban Redevelopment Authority and the National Heritage Board of Singapore. The museum also received the Patron of the Art Award from the Singapore National Art Council.

Nei Xue Tang Museum displays works of art from different part of Southeast Asia as well as China. Its collection of Thai and Khmer Buddhist artworks are particularly significant. The treasures in this museum include works in gold, silver, bronze, jade, crystal, ivory, stone and other mediums.

Also displayed at Nei Xue Tang Museum are the calligraphy of Tan Swie Hian, himself regarded as a national treasure and living heritage of Singapore.

Visiting Nei Xue Tang Museum

Take the East West Line or North East Line of the Singapore MRT to the Outram Park MRT Station (EW16/NE3), then walk along Cantonment Road until you arrive at the museum on your left. You can also take bus 75,167 and 196 to get there.

Admission fees are $5 per adult and $3 per child aged 8 and above. Children below 8 years of age are not permitted. The museum is open daily from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
