Ord Bridge is the steel truss bridge across the Singapore River at Clarke Quay. The bridge is for pedestrian use only. Ord Bridge was named after Colonel Sir Harry St. George Ord, the Governor of the Straits Settlements from 1867 to 1873. Colonel Ord is the first governor of the Straits Settlements to be appointed directly by the colonial office in London, rather than from Madras, as the previous governors were.

Coincidentally, the name Ord Bridge is also the abbreviation of its original name, Ordnance Bridge, as it happens to be across from the ammunition depot to the British military located along Magazine Road nearby.
Ord Bridge was built in 1886 to replace the old footbridge at the same spot. There were some toddy shops in the vicinity, and as such, the bridge was also called the Toddy Bridge. Within walking distance of Ord Bridge is Tan Si Chong Su, one of the oldest Chinese clan temples in Singapore.
