People's Park Centre (see map) is one of the older shopping centres in Singapore. It comprises a four-storey podium block with a thirteen-storey apartment block above it, and a three-level basement. It also has a smaller tower block housing offices. The shopping centre is located along Eu Tong Sen Street, a short distance from People's Park Complex.

People's Park Centre is one of the earliest attempts to build affordable housing for the people in the densely populated Chinatown area. It also provides outlets for setting up shops for retailers.

Getting there

People's Park Centre is just across the street from the Chinatown MRT Station, served by the North East Line. Take Exit E to reach the shopping centre.
