People's Park Complex (see map) is a shopping centre with a residential high-rise block in the Chinatown of Singapore. The complex occupies a plot at the foot of Pearl's Hill. Before its construction, the area was an open park. Later on, a market was established there, called People's Market or Pearl's Market. However, it was destroyed by a fire in 1966.

People's Park Complex was constructed between 1967 and 1970. When it was completed, it was the first shopping centre of its kind in Singapore, and it set the stage for future retail development in the country. Even today, it is still the biggest shopping centre along Eu Tong Sen Street.
The design of People's Park Complex reflects the ideals set forth by imminent architect Le Corbusier for high rise living. It was designed by local architecture firm Design Partnership (now called DP Architects). People's Park Complex comprises a six storey podium and above it, a 25-storey apartment block, giving a total of 31 storeys to the buiding.
