Pulau Sakijang Pelepah (Lazarus Island), Singapore
Pulau Sakijang Pelepah is one of the Southern Islands of Singapore. It is also known as Lazarus Island.
Located some 6 km to the south of mainland Singapore, Pulau Sakijang Pelepah has been developed by the Singapore Tourism Board as a holiday destination. The type of tourism product to be offered may include ecotourism or luxury getaway.
A sandbar was built to connect Pulau Sakijang Pelepah with Pulau Seringat, while a causeway connects it with Pulau Sakijang Bendera. Visitors can now walk from one island to the other. Those intending to visit the islands can take a ferry from the Marina South Pier. The ferry makes stops at Pulau Tembakul and Pulau Sakijang Bendera.
