Robertson Quay, Singapore

Robertson Quay is a quay along the Singapore River. It is located upriver from Clarke Quay, west of Clemenceau Bridge. The quay, today turned into a pedestrian promenade, is parallel to Mohamed Sultan Rd.
In 1999, as part of the effort of the government to turn Singapore River into a recreational precinct, Robertson Quay was beautified. The quay was also redeveloped into a promenade. Three pedestrian bridges were built to allow visitors to cross the Singapore River and enjoy the views there. The bridges are the Robertson Bridge, Alkaff Bridge and Jiak Kim Bridge.
Among the sights in the vicinity of Robertson Quay include Studio M Hotel, Fraser Place Robertson Walk, and Park Hotel Clark Quay. Across the river on the south side is Havelock Rd.
Getting there
If you depend on the MRT, it is a bit far. The nearest MRT Stations are the Outram Park Station (NE3, EW16) served by the North East Line and East West Line and Raffles Place Station (EW14, NS26) served by the East West Line and North South Line. I would recommend that, if you should take the MRT, take it to Raffles Place, then walk along the Singapore River until you reach Robertson Quay.
