Singapore Conference Hall, Singapore
Singapore Conference Hall (see map) is one of the older multi-purpose buildings in Singapore. Located at the junction of Shenton Way and Maxwell Road in the Financial District of Singapore, the Singapore Conference Hall was completed in 1965 at a cost of S$4 million.
The Singapore Conference Hall offers space for exhibitions, live performances, conferences and concerts. The five-storey building has an outdoor car park and no basement. There are plans to gazette the Singapore Conference Hall as a national monument. If this is realised, the building will be brought back to its original design through the removal of subsequent renovations.
