The Helix Bridge (see map) is a pedestrian bridge across Marina Bay. It links Marina Centre with Marina South, and was officially opened on 24 April, 2010. At that time, only half the bridge was opened as the section towards Marina Bay Sands was not yet completed. The entire bridge was only opened on 18 July, 2010.

The Helix Bridge is 280 meters long. It was designed by an international team comprising Australian and Singapore architects. The bridge runs beside the Benjamin Sheares Bridge and is alongside the Bayfront Bridge, which is used by vehicles.

How to go to The Helix Bridge

Take the Singapore MRT Circle Line to the Promenade MRT Station and walk along Temasek Avenue until you reach the bridge.
