Dear Reader,

I am humbled to learn that people appreciate my photographs. Since I started my websites in 2003 and displaying my photographs on them, I have been able to license the use of my photographs in numerous places including travel guidebooks, magazines, posters, calendars, other websites and all forms of online and offline publications and advertisements. There are thousands of original photographs spread out in my many websites, the majority of which were taken by me. They are available in high resolution format for printing in books and posters.

The photographs appearing on my website are either those taken by me, or those by another photographer. If they are by someone else, you will see an attribution of the photographer's name as well as the licensing terms the shot is being used. All photographs taken by me is copyrighted to me, © Timothy Tye, and may only be re-used with my permission. The majority of these photos bear the URL of the website where it appears. Most of these photos are available as high-resolution stock images for use in any form of publication and advertisements, online and off-line.

If a photograph is captioned with someone else's name, please do not write to me for permission to use them. The licensing terms are specified in the caption. Most of these photographs appear under GNU Free Documentation License or Creative Commons License.

If you need to use an of my photographs, please inform me by identifying the photo, and letting me know the size that you need it, and what will be its usage. If you need it for an advertisement, I also need to know where it will be appearing (for example, in North America, in Singapore, in the Far East, etc.), the duration of the advertisement (for 3 months, a one-time thing, over six months, etc.), and the circulation size. Well, if you're in the industry, you'd know what to tell me.

To identify the photo you need, point your cursor to it, right click, and copy its file name as showing in the properties (for example, http://www.asiaexplorers.com/stock-photography/maple.jpg in the photo on the right).

The photographs are available in two resolution sizes: medium and high, determined by the width (of landscape shots) and height (of vertical/portrait shots). Low resolution is 1024 pixels and below, in JPG format. High resolution is over 2000 pixels and above, in TIFF format. It will be more costly to choose a high resolution image of the same photograph. If you are using it for the web, low resolution is usually sufficient.

Send me the information at my email address below, and I will advise you the licensing price of the photograph.
