Abhisek Dusit Throne Hall

The Abhisek Dusit Throne Hall is a building located within Dusit Palace. It was built in 1903 and completed in 1904. It is noted for its intricate fretwork and latticework. Located immediately to the east of Vimanmek Mansion (I almost mistaken it for the mansion itself), the Abhisek Dusit acted as the throne hall.

The Abhisek Dusit Throne Hall is one of the venues of the SUPPORT Museum. It houses an exhibit of arts and crafts of the foundation presided by Her Majesty Queen Sirikit.

Across the lawn from the Abhisek Dusit Throne Hall is the Local Textile Exhibition Hall honoring Her Majesty Queen Sirikit on the occasion of the Queen's 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on 12 August 2004.

Getting there

See direction to go to Vimanmek Mansion. The Abhisek Dusit Throne Hall is just to the east of it.
