Bang Lang National Park is a national park of Thailand located in Yala Province, in the southern part of the country. It is about 45 km to the south of Satong. It covers a 261 sq km area that includes a few bodies of water.
The Bang Lang National Park protects the forested areas growing with various lowland forest trees, including those of the Dipterocrap family, the Malacca teak, Chestnut ironwood, and others.
The Pattani River and Sai Buri River flow through Bang Lang National Park. There are also man-made canals including the Khlong Hala, To Mo and Khlong Ban Chet. The Bang Lang Dam creates the Bang Lang Reservoir surrounded by mountains rising to a height of 600m. The surrounding forest is home to a variety of wildlife including the Asian elephants, gibbons, langur and the endangered Sumatran rhinoceros.
Among the sights at Bang Lang National Park is its waterfall and historical war area with remains of ruins left by communist guerillas.
