Belfry of Wat Pho (Wat Phra Chetuphon), Bangkok
Belfry is the time tellers at Wat Pho. There are two, one on the north, near the Vihara of the Reclining Buddha, and another to the south, in front of Sala Kanparien, to the southwest of Wat Pho with the Phra Maha Chedi separating them. The two belfries were built during the reigns of King Rama I and King Rama III. They stand on pedestals with stairs going up to them and railing around them decorated with Chinese chien-nien broken pottery art.
