Chiang Dao National Park is a national park of Thailand located in Chiang Mai Province. It covers an area of 1,123 sq km. The national park protects the mountain ranges of Doi Chaing Dao and Pha Dang. The area is a source of two important rivers, the Ping river and the Mae Tang.

 Vegetation at Chiang Dao National Park includes semi-evergreen forest, montane forest and pine forest. There are rare and valuable trees here including the Burmese ebony, the ironwood, the Tabak (a type of Lagerstroemia) and others.

How to go to Chiang Dao National Park

Take Highway 107 out of Chiang Mai in the direction of Fang. At KM83, near Ban Ping Kwong, take the asphalt road followed by a turn at Ban Tab Tao (KM118).
