There is a Chinese Pavilion, called Tuek Farang (Chinese joss house) within the grounds of Wat Pho. It was built during the reign of King Rama III. To reach it, enter through a gate guarded on both sides by statues in western attire. I read in the Wat Pho website that these statues are supposed to caricature Marco Polo, and were brought here as ballasts on Chinese trading vessels.
Behind the Chinese Pavilion is a pond called Crocodile Pond - I am not sure whether it is just a name of whether such reptiles were once kept there. Decorative garden plants are now planted around the pond. Many of these are herbs mentioned in Thai medicinal text.

To the right of Sala Kanparien, on the southwest side of Wat Pho.
