The highlight of Erawan National Park is the breathtakingly beautiful Erawan Falls, which is a series of cascades into rock pools. The wildlife at this national park includes pig-tailed macaques and rhesus macaques, and a small number of tigers - not usually encountered by casual visitors.

A 2-km hiking trail takes visitors through the national park, going up beside the waterfall. Another highlight of the park is the limestone cavern of Tham Wang Badan, on the west side of the park. Inside are numerous stalagmites and stalactities.

Erawan National Park is one of the most popular national parks in Thailand. Due to its relative proximity to Bangkok, it gets quite crowded during weekends.

How to reach Erawan National Park
