Huay Nam Dang National Park is a national park of Thailand in Chiang Mai Province. Covering an area of 1,247 sq km, it was established as the 81st national park of Thailand on 14 August 1995. The national park was formerly the Doi Sam Highland Development Project initiated by His Majesty the King. It protects areas of virgin forest from illegal encroachment and poaching.

Huay Nam Dong National Park occupies the districts of Mae Taeng, Chiang Dao and Wiang Haeng in Chiang Mai Province, and Pai district in Mae Hong Son Province. It covers the Chiang Dao mountain range, including 1,962-meter Doi Chang, the highest point in the national park.

How to reach Huay Nam Dong National Park

Huay Nam Dong National Park is located at KM65-66 of Route 1095. To get there, take Highway 107 out of Chiang Mai until Mae Malai Market. From there take Route 1095 for another 65km to reach the turning towards the park.
