Kaeng Krung National Park is a national park in the southern region of Thailand. It covers 541 sq km in the northwest of Surat Thani Province, and encompasses areas within the districts of Tha Chana, Chaiya, Tha Chang and Vibhavadi.
Within Kaeng Krung National Park are two mountain ranges with the highest point being Khao Sung, at 849 meters above sea level. This forested area is the source of a number of rivers that flow through Surat Thani Province and Chumphon Province. It has nice sceneries and sights, including some hot-water pols, waterfalls and streams.
Among the waterfalls at Kaeng Krung National Park are Banghoy Waterfall, Bang Cham Waterfall, and Klong Pa Waterfall. The Klongyan and Klongsa are two rivers flowing through the area. The national park is home so several important plant species including the lumpor (from the legume family), the champak and several type of yang plant.
Wildlife within Kaeng Krung National Park includes barking deer, Malayan tiger, seladang, sunbear, tapir, gibbon and others.
