There are two sets of waterfalls by the name Na Muang (also written Namuang) in Koh Samui, and they are called Na Muang I and II respectively. Na Muang I is the most easily reached. The road to Na Muang I is located about five minutes after Hua Thanon fishing village. There are places for parking and refreshments, and for those who wish, can take an elephant ride. The trek up Na Muang I is quite steep.
Na Muang II is larger than Na Muang I, and so is more spectacular. However, Na Muang II is further away from the main island road. The path up the side of the falls can be quite slippery, especially with the spray of the falls nearby. Good shoes are recommended to climb Na Muang II. Alternatively, you may decide on an elephant ride, which is also available here.
