Patong Beach is Phuket's most developed seafront. Located 15km west of Phuket Town, Patong offers numerous leisure activities, shopping and other recreational options along its 3-km stretch of crescent bay. Windsurfing, snorkelling, sailing, swimming and sunbathing are popular daytime activities. When night falls, Patong is well known for its vibrant nightlife, seafood restaurants, Thai boxing, among others.
What makes Patong so well loved by tourists is the white sandy beach that slopes gently into the turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea.
