About Phitsanulok RoadPhitsanulok Road is a major road in Bangkok. It cuts through the Dusit area running in a northwest to southeast direction. On the southern end, Phitsanulok Road starts at the junction with Lan Luang Road, where it continues as Phetchaburi Road. On the left side of the road is the Mission Hospital followed by Ban Phitsanulok, the official residence of the prime minister designed by Italian architects, built in 1925 and restored in 1982. On the right side of the road, a little down from Ban Phitsanulok, is the Royal Turf Club, which includes a golf club. Next, we see two parallel roads intersecting with Phitsanulok Road: Rama V Road and Nakhon Pathom Road. They are separated by a canal. After the intersection of Nakhon Pathom Road is the Royal Thai Government House, used as the office of the prime minister. Phitsanulok Road ends a T-junction at Samsen Road.
