Sairung Waterfall (also written Sai Rung Waterfall) is located at the foot of the Khao Bantad Range, in Trang Province, Thailand. The name of this beautiful waterfall translates into English as Rainbow waterfall. To get to Sairung Waterfall, take Federal Route 4 from Phattalung to Trang.

The waterfall is a short walk from the car park. It falls 150 meters and then cascades through a succession of rapids. It has become a favourite locale for a picnic among the locals.

Sairung Update - April 15, 2007

AT least 23 people died and many more were missing after flash flood swept over Sairung waterfall. The tragedy took place at about 2pm (1700 AEST). According to an official at the local hospital, more bodies are coming. Most of the victims were women and children. People were enjoying the waterfall when the flash flood swept over.
