Suan Hong Residential Hall, Dusit, Bangkok

Suan Hong Residential Hall is a building located within Dusit Palace. It is two storeys high and is noted for its ornate fretwork, especially on the pediment and eaves. The Suan Hong Residential Hall was built by His Majesty King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) for Her Majesty Queen Savang Vadhana (the Queen Grandmother), who lived there from 1902 until 1910.
Today Suan Hong Residential Hall is used as the Royal Ceremony Photography Exhibition Hall. It shows photographs of Thai royals, such as the ceremony for laying a one-month-old royal infant in a cradle, the royal state procession and the royal barge procession. Photos of the Triyampawai ceremony and the Giant Swing ceremony are also shown as are photos showing the activities of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn.
