Wat Lokayasuttharam is rather hard to find temple in Ayutthaya. It is located behind the Royal Palace and the Pratoochai Primary School. The main feature of the temple is its huge reclining Buddha image, the Phra Bhuddhasaiyart. The length is variously reported as between 28 m and 37 m. It is believed that this temple was built around 1412 by King Intharacha (refer to Ayutthaya History)
