Giac Vien Pagoda is a temple located in the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City. The temple enjoys a serene setting, away from the noise and bustle of the city.

Giac Vien Pagoda is a temple popular with the venerable and remembrance of the departed. As you arrive there, you will see several ornately carved tombs to the ride side of the entrance. Within the temple are also the photographs of the departed.

Giac Vien Pagoda has a columbarium housing funerary urns. The inside of the columbarium is lit by well-placed skylights.

Within the main prayer hall of Giac Vien Pagoda is the main altar. It is crowded with statues of Buddha of varous forms and sizes. In front of the altar is a conical structure with a multitude of small Buddha images on each level. To the left and right of the prayer hall are cloisters lined with bonsai trees.

Giac Vien Pagoda is a short distance from Dam Sen Water Park, a water recreational park that is popular with the locals in Ho Chi Minh City.

Giac Vien Pagoda is located at 161/35/20 Lac Long Quan Street, in District 11 of Ho Chi Minh City.
