Halong Bay is one of the most beautiful places along the coastline of Vietnam. Declared a Unesco World Heritage Site since 1994, it has attracted a lot of international tourists. I explored it with a small group of friends and members from AsiaExplorers. Let me share with you the sceneries of Halong Bay in this photo album. For useful tips and information for visiting Halong Bay, read the AsiaExplorers Halong Bay Travel Guide.

Evening at Halong Bay.

Sunset over the isles of Halong Bay.

The viewpoint at Titov Island becomes a silhouette.

On board our junk at nightfall. After a day of islands, we had our shower and are now relaxing on deck.

I made this timed-exposure shot using a steady tripod to capture motion blur caused by the moving junk - luckily the junk itself remains sharp.

A photograph I took of myself on board the junk, again capturing motion blur of the moving junk.
